  2. Open Feasibility Studies from the construction/research navigation.
  3. Review the list of studies for your company.

Note

Data is company-scoped. Super-admin users can filter across companies.

Updating a Feasibility Study

  1. Open the study from the index.
  2. Click edit.
  3. Update fields or upload a new attachment.
  4. Save changes.

Updates record the modifying user and timestamp.

Saving/Finalizing the Study

Saving the form stores the study. To route for approval, submit the study from the details screen — this sets status to Under Review and creates an approval request with planner and CEO steps.

Warning

Approval step names and roles (planner, ceo) are defined in the product’s feasibility approval handler. Adjust approver assignments through your role configuration.

  1. Complete required fields on the study.
  2. Save the study.
  3. From Details, submit for approval when ready.
  4. Track approval progress in the approvals queue.

Troubleshooting

  • Project idea missing — create a project idea in the same company first.
  • Cannot submit for approval — study may already be Under Review.
  • Attachment fails — check upload limits in System Settings.

FAQ

What statuses can a feasibility study have?

Research Pending, Under Review, Approved, and Rejected — as shown on the create/edit form.

Can I attach documents?

Yes. An optional file and attachment title can be uploaded when creating or editing a study.

How does approval work?

Submit for approval from the details screen. The product routes a two-step approval (Planner Review, then CEO Approval) and links the approval request to the study.
